#001 — DJ LOVECATT

DJ LoveCatt is a Copenhagen based DJ. She has a beating heart for house music which she delivers with surprising spontaneity, sprinkled with inspirations from disco and funk. DJ LoveCatt delivers a playful and adventurous set looking to both past, present, and future house. She mixes songs that will make you move and songs you have yet to explore.

I had many ideas and ways I wanted to approach this mix. I wanted to choose a theme and create creative constraints but as the mix took form, improvisation usually takes over in the moment for me. So, in the in the end this mix reflects what I felt in the exact moment I recorded it: flowing and obsession over endless groove.

I see myself as a big ol’ nerd. I love house and anything groovy and I spend a lot of time diving into it and having fun with it. I also see myself as person who likes to bridge the past and the present musically.

Co-creating parties that gives people SPACE to be themselves, to be aware of our fellow dancers and ourselves. And of course, hearing and discovering music that makes my soul move. See ya on the floor <333
