#013 — ANNA LOGIC
Latvian born Anna Logic is a Copenhagen-based selector best known for the rave-positive sound and a genrefluid style of DJing. Anna’s eclectic selections have everything from 90s to until today - covering genres from Acid House, Techno, Trance to Electro. The only thing that you can be sure about Anna’s style is a deep understanding of groove and rhythm: that translates into music for dancing.
Anna Logic has a constant desire to keep things fresh, combined with an unapologetically high standard when it comes to track selection. Being a part of two Copenhagen collectives: Serotonin Academy and Tunghør, besides also being a part of the Barcelona based queer collective No Tags.
This one-hour mix embodies my genrefluid approach to DJing. By blending contrasting tracks, I try to create a dynamic interplay that also represents me as a person: a cute paradox. My music is intense yet grounded, playful yet serious, hard yet tender—just like me.
As someone with social anxiety, becoming a public persona was never part of the plan. But my career evolved organically, challenging me to confront my deepest fears. Prioritizing self-care has been a key part of this journey, allowing me to grow both personally and professionally.
When I began breaking the “rules” of DJing, I noticed one thing that provoked the most reaction: mixing underground and mainstream music. Who combines tracks from Berghain’s Ostgut Ton label with Eric Prydz in the same set? Now I’ve got your attention.
Looking ahead, my focus is on creating music that resonates deeply with people. There’s something profoundly human about making art for its own sake. Music is the purest form of expression, and in a world that often feels chaotic, it helps us understand ourselves—and the world—on a deeper level.
